Association For Commuter Transportation International Conference (ACT)

American Public Transportation Association (APTA)
The American Public Transportation Association hosts a number of conferences and events throughout the year. Here are a few you won’t want to miss:
- APTA Mobility Conference

- The APTA Mobility Conference focuses on the challenges bus and paratransit systems face today and unites industry professionals to discuss and explore priorities and transit’s modern mobility landscape. - APTAtech is new to the conference calendar. This event will take a look at how innovative technologies can be used to help the public better use public transit. Some of the topics covered will include IoT devices, transit security and safety, fare payment systems, AI, customer information, autonomous vehicles and more. The conference is specifically focused on the use of technology for mobility to increase and improve ridership, customer satisfaction, and conveniences for riders. - APTA TRANSform is hailed as the world’s largest public transportation showcase. It only happens once every three years, and 2020 is the year for you to attend. The conference usually draws about 15,000 attendees and more than 800 exhibitors worldwide. It will showcase products, services, and technology related to public transportation. Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA)

The Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA) annual conference is designed for community and public transportation professionals. Speakers and sessions will focus on innovative technology, strategies for communication, regulations, funding opportunities, and workforce development. There will also be a trade show featuring industry related products and services and the National Community Transportation Roadeo, a competition where drivers from across the U.S. compete to see who the best driver is, with a focus on passenger sensitivity and safe operations of vehicles. Midwest/SE Transit Conference
Details the 2020 Midwest/SE Transit Conference haven’t been released yet, but the 2019 conference was in September in Kansas City, Missouri and was sponsored by Iowa Public Transit Association, Kansas Public Transit Association, Missouri Public Transit Association, Nebraska Public Transit Association, and South West Transit Association.
