- When We Disclose Information
CTS does not sell Personal Information. We do not share Personal Information with other people or nonaffiliated companies except when we have your permission, as required by law, and/or under the following circumstances:
- We work with third party service providers to provide website development, hosting, data storage, maintenance, and other services for us. To the extent it is necessary for these third-party service providers to complete their contractual obligations to us, these third parties may have access to or process information about you. Our third-party service providers do not have any independent right to use or share such information outside of their relationship with CTS.
- We partner with certain third parties to collect information regarding your use of our products and services in order to improve the maintenance and support we are able to provide you for our products and services. These third parties may also engage in analysis, auditing, research, and reporting. These third parties may use web logs or web beacons, and they may set and access Cookies on your computer or other device. Even if you do not click on these plug-ins, they may collect information about you, such as your IP address, the pages that you view, and the actions you complete. If you prefer to prevent third parties from setting and accessing Cookies on your computer, you may set your browser to block Cookies. Please note that certain aspects of our Site may not work correctly if you block Cookies. Any third-party plugins and components are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing them (and not this Notice), so we advise you to read their privacy statements.
- In some cases, in order to provide the products and services available through and/or in connection with the Site, we provide information about you to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with us under confidentiality agreements. Our partners do not have any independent right to use or share such information outside of their relationship with CTS.
- We may partner with third parties to manage our advertising on other websites. Our third-party partners may use tracking technologies to gather information about your activities on our Site and other websites to provide you with advertising based on your browsing activities and interests. Currently, various browsers offer a “Do Not Track” option, but there is no standard for how Do Not Track should work on commercial websites. Due to lack of such standards, the Sites do not respond to Do Not Track consumer browser settings.
- We may share information about you in response to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
- We may share information about you if we have a good faith belief that it is necessary to do so in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of the CTS Terms of Use, or as otherwise required by law.
- We may transfer or assign information about you if CTS is acquired by or merged with another company, or in the unlikely event of a bankruptcy.
You may request information about service providers, partners, and other third parties we work with at any time. If you would like CTS to stop providing your Personal Information to any third party, please contact us at compliance@cts-software.com.
