Their Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) meets the changing needs of seniors, often at no cost. WelbeHealth operates a fleet of 200 vehicles, completing approximately 9,000 trips annually. WelbeHealth is committed to improving quality of life through reliable and efficient services.

Challenges Before TripMaster

Before TripMaster, WelbeHealth managed its transportation manually using Excel. This system made route optimization, KPI tracking, and load balancing inefficient and time-consuming. Urban traffic, rural complexities, and the lack of automated tools further compounded the difficulty of meeting participants’ needs.Reporting was very time consuming and inaccurate.

Since returning to TripMaster, Chatham Transit has achieved:

  • Efficiency Gains: Automated scheduling and dispatching reduced manual processes and enhanced participant experiences.
  • Growth without Sacrificing Performance: The organization grew from three centers with 20 vehicles to 12 centers across four states with over 200 vehicles. They now consistently maintain an average of 2.53 riders per hour per vehicle, which is well above the industry average.
  • Vehicle Maintenance to Maximize Costly Assets: Preventative tools have extended vehicle ifespan and minimized downtime.
  • Safety Enhancements and Liability Protection: The camera solution has mitigated liability, protected staff and participants, and resolved incident disputes. There have been at least 4 instances the TripView camera system has proved their drivers were not at fault.
